On August 17th, our school community came together to celebrate Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day with a variety of exciting competitions and games. These activities aimed to preserve our rich cultural heritage and commemorate the many years of independence we have enjoyed as a nation.
Our students showcased their skills and creativity in a range of fun challenges. In one game, students tested their balance and dexterity by trying to place a straw into a glass using only their noses and lips! In another, they raced against each other while carrying water-filled balloons using just a sarong, a traditional Indonesian cloth, without dropping the balloons. Finally, our soccer enthusiasts had a blast playing a unique game of soccer while wearing sarongs, adding an extra layer of challenge to the match.
These activities not only provided our students with a fun and memorable experience but also fostered a sense of community and patriotism.
We are grateful to all who participated and helped make this year’s Independence Day celebration a resounding success!
